Our Sports Hub

Welcome to our Sporting at Kaitaia College. We offer a large variety of sporting activities within our Kura, where students have the opportunity to excel and represent at many levels. The majority of the sports we offer our students are those that are sanctioined by the Northland and New Zealand Secondary School Council as this meets the education out of the classroom requirments. We rely heavily on volunteer coaches from our community and staff, so if you are a parent/aunty or uncle that can assist in anyway please contact Mrs Parlour for further information.

Our Sports Co-Ordinator is Mrs Yvette Parlour. She can be contacted on extension 729 or by email yparlour@kaitaiacollege.school.nz during office hours 8.30am-3.30pm.  

Mrs Parlour works closely with Sport Northland to assist our students in their sporting achievements. Many of our past and present students have earned high accolades for their sporting prowess.  

Mrs Parlour also co-ordinates the Taha Tinana Committee (Sports Committee) within our Kura, where students from Year 9-13 organise inter-whanau activities at lunchtimes.
