TECHNOLOGY TEACHER

Kaitāia College is seeking an innovative and passionate teacher to join our Technology Department. Based in the stunning far north of Aotearoa, our school is committed to nurturing creativity and fostering a supportive learning environment for students in Y7-13. 

As a key contributor to our technology department, the ideal applicant will be well-organised, resourceful and have a can-do attitude. There will be a degree of flexibility to design a timetable around the successful candidate. Please state any senior subject specialty in your application. We welcome applicants with expertise in design and visual communication (DVC), computer science & robotics, and/or hard materials technology/product design. Please state your specialisms in your application. 

We’re looking for someone who has a solution-focused approach to education, places akonga at the centre of their pedagogy, seeks excellence in their practice, and has a commitment to and understanding of mana ōrite mō te mātauranga māori.

Our school lies 15–20 minutes drive from some of Northland's most iconic West Coast and East Coast beaches. Our local environment is a hunting, fishing, swimming, surfing and lifestyle paradise. School visits and/or a korero with the Principal can be arranged by request.
